There are some phone taps that are not true taps at all. They are more like bugs that only allow you to listen to one end of the conversation. While one end can be very useful, the fact is that it can also be very incomplete, leaving a lot of things to conjecture. The most effective phone taps allow you to listen to both ends of the conversation so that you can get as much context from the conversation as possible.
Usually hard taps, soft taps, and advanced cell phone bugs are the phone taps that can allow you to listen to both sides of the conversation. These are taps that get you “into the system,” so to speak, so that you are in the middle of the communication. The best and most advanced taps are not noticeable by the parties being listened to, and so the eavesdropper can hear whatever needs to be heard without letting the others know she or he is there.
Hard phone taps are those that make use of an actual physical line. They consist of a secondary line hooked into the primary line and then bridged to another location. The person listening can be at the location of the tap, or they can use a “slave” to send a transmission. This type of phone tap is extremely difficult to detect, as it is hardwired and usually at a location away from the phone, so sweeping the room for bugs will not be effective.
Soft phone taps are those that take place inside the software of the phone company. The listener gains access to the digital network by hacking in or receiving permission. Most phone companies today now incorporate digital lines into their service, even if the person has a land line. This means that the listener only needs to know which line is associated with the conversation he or she would like to listen to. These are relatively easy to find if someone knows how to look in the software, but virtually undetectable to the parties having the conversations.
Cell phone taps are another matter altogether. They make use of a special cell phone that allows you to dial a secret number to activate the phone for listening. The user is usually unsuspecting and has no idea you are listening to the conversation when you use cell phone taps.

As long as the adverse action is based on reasonable factors other than age. Even if the employment action is otherwise prohibited by the ADEA. It has the burden to prove that its decision was based on a reasonable factor other than age. Specifically the jury found that although the plaintiffs did not prove that Knolls intentionally discriminated against them they did prove that Knolls method of deciding who to lay off disproportionately harmed older workers. In that case Meacham versus Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory the Supreme Court interpreted a provision of the ADEA that permits an employer to take an adverse employment action against an employee. The company had its supervisors rate their subordinates based on their performance flexibility and critical skills. Twenty-eight of those 69 employees sued under the ADEA claiming Knolls illegally fired them because of their age. A lawyer from Schiedam won from a in Harlingen Texas In reaching its conclusion that the employer has the burden to prove the reasonable factors other than age defense the Supreme Court looked at another provision of the ADEA the bona fide occupational qualification defense. For example it would not be illegal to consider criteria for a particular role in a movie that has a disparate impact on age if the part calls for someone of a particular age. Knolls totaled those scores and gave the employees additional points based on their years of service. In Meacham Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory was planning to lay off a number of employees. The Supreme Court ruled that if an employer seeks to rely on that defense. The Supreme Court then agreed to hear the case and eventually reversed the Second Circuit and reinstated the jurys finding that Knolls policy unlawfully discriminated because of age. At the trial a jury found Knolls had violated the ADEA because its layoff procedure had a disparate impact based on age. The BFOQ defense states that it is not unlawful for an employer to take adverse employment actions otherwise prohibited by the ADEA where age is a bona fide occupational qualification reasonably necessary to the normal operation of the particular business. It then used those totals to decide who to lay off. The United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit initially affirmed the jurys findings but after the United States Supreme Court asked it to reconsider the Second Circuit reversed itself and ruled in favor of Knolls. In other words the ADEA permits employers to discriminate based on age considering age is legitimately necessary under the circumstances. The Supreme Court has previously recognized that the employer has the burden to establish the BFOQ affirmative defense. Thirty of the 59 salaried employees the company laid off were at least 65 years old.

If you are anything like me you will have no idea what I am talking about when I say the word anime. Until about 20 minutes ago I had no idea what it was, and I definitely didn’t know that there was such a thing as anime ringtones.
Apparently anime is what my friends and I always called Japanimation. I am sure that all those cartoons are not made in Japan but, well that is what we always called them. You know the cartoons, the ones with the weird backgrounds and the people with the really sharp facial features. All the girls are half naked and when they fight they always have a sword or something in their hand and the background blurs together. We always called it Japanimation but I am sure anime is the more correct term.
Well apparently there are actually anime ringtones, however I can not say I have ever heard one, not that I would know it if I did. There are even entire websites devoted to anime ringtones. Apparently as stated on one website there was a severe deficit of anime ringtones so someone had to create a site just for them. I wonder how many people actually use them? Maybe there is a huge underground movement that I don’t even know about being driven by a love for anime theme songs.
The thing that confounds me, is that I have seen the cartoons, and can’t say any type of music sticks out in my head as being characteristic of the shows. But, as I said before, I don’t exactly know that much about them and can’t say I would even know where to go to watch one should I want to. However if you are a lover of anime, rest assured that should you really truly desire and anime ringtone for your cell phone, they are out there.

The high streets are choc full of mobile phone. Every newspaper, magazine, billboard and TV break tells us about the latest and greatest deals from the networks and retailers. With so many options and deals available, it can be hard for the ordinary consumer to choose the deal that best suits firstly their lifestyle and secondly their pocket.
The mobile phone market exploded seemingly overnight and has matured extremely quickly. Buying mobile phones has gone from being an exclusive activity to a recurring annual purchase for almost every adult and child in the UK. As the market has matured, competition has become fervent and prices have steadily dropped. Although the major networks are still relatively few and it remains true that these providers still dictate and drive much of the market, the emergence of the mobile phone shops and retailers has led to direct cost savings for us the customers.
As with any market in the 21st century, mobile phones are conspicuous to the point of ubiquitous which adds another dimension for the customer as we look online to buy mobile phones. Online resellers have been quick to take advantage of the web as a primary distribution channel. Buying in bulk from the manufacturers and dealing directly with networks, online retailers such as Dial-a-Phone mobile phones have managed to cut traditional business overheads by using the medium of the internet as the primary source of custom. This means that some of the cost savings can be passed directly on to the customer meaning potential savings when buying mobile phones online.
Online resellers can offer the same services as high street resellers but it can be difficult to buy the right mobile phone without some kind of information about the product. The web is useful for product research of all kinds and again the mobile phone market is no different with various review sites offering useful information about mobile phones.

You can’t control what poker cards you get. It’s sad, but true. Sometimes you go through a dry spell, and you just don’t get any cars. You can try to steal poker blinds, but that can only go on so far before people get wise to you and someone calls you. You want to build up a good stack, but sometimes there’s nothing that you want to play, I mean, who wants to raise with a Jack-7?
The key here is to be patient and wait for the poker cards to come-don’t try to make a big move with some crummy hands because you think that a Jack-9’s the best you’re going to get.
Wait it out until you get the nuts, then suck them in. don’t freak out when you get Aces and go all in, because you might scare everyone out of the pot. Just play it cool, and hope somebody bets against you.
All that patience crap goes out the window if you blind down to small stack though. By then it’s war-all in or all out. If you’re down to your last ten big blinds, then start pushing all in. Better to go out with a bang and get ‘em next time.

Nextel now has it’s very own Smartphone the Motorola i930! There has been online talk about Nextel and Motorola releasing a Smartphone for at least two years now.
But now it’s no longer talk, the Nextel i930 for Nextel is reality. Well, it’s almost the perfect Nextel phone. (not to be overly critical, but we got to remain objective, right!?) For sure, this is no ordinary cell phone. The Motorola i930 lacks two essential features that most leading PDA’s usually have like Bluetooth and a backlit QWERTY keyboard. Ok, call me spoiled (I love Bluetooth and my Treo 650 has a touch screen need I remind?)
One could make a strong case indeed that the Motorola i-930 for Nextel doesn’t require Bluetooth as a necessary component because I-930 has Nextel’s famous walkie-talkie features and supports Nextel Direct Connect and Direct Talk Services and that’s just for appetizers. This Smartphone (not PDA) from Nextel has a ton of great features going for it that will make it a very popular Nextel phone.
Anybody planning to travel soon? Well if you are, this cell phone could be a very useful companion because it’s designed for use in over 100 countries around the world (i930 has some real serious network compatibility as it works with iDEN 800, 900, GSM 800, and 1900 ! ) without changing the SIM card, now that’s a lot of convenience! Add to that, the fact that this Nextel Smartphone operates on Windows Mobile software, has near WiMax high speed downloads, plus includes Pocket Outlook, Pocket Explorer, ClearVue document viewing software and Windows Media Player software!
What more needs to be said, the majority of typical Nextel customers don’t need a QWERTY keyboard and Bluetooth. With a Windows Mobile SE operating system, a 180Mhz processor along with the Windows Media player to play MP3’s and a VGA Digital camera to boot it’s obvious that Motorola and Nextel pulled out all the stops on the i930.

Currently the cell phone voice collection data from intelligence agencies around the world do not work as good as they need too. In Britain for instance British Intelligence logs all cell phone calls. These intercepted conversations are run thru data mining artificial intelligence programs to look for possible communications between Al Queda and local connections or sleeper cells. Many decry this invasion of privacy in the United States, as we explore ways to find needles in haystacks to divert a potential eventuality of an Al Queda attack against the American People. Many believe this is a violation of privacy and also a huge violation of civil rights. Although the President made a good point in an interview the other day when he said; “hey if you are talking to Al Queda, well we would sure like to know about it.” Indeed.
Unfortunately one can trick these systems and watch them work. Get on a cell phone and say words like; “President, bomb, missile, nuclear, machine gun, shoot, bullet, fire” etc. and you will see the phone go hollow and you will hear an echo. That is how you test the integrity of the system, which seems to be working all the time. It is interesting all this talk about how the NSA is violating the rights of people now, as this has been going on for over 5 decades using the phone lines and other communications. It really isn’t news at all. In fact you can read all about it on the Internet on 100’s of websites in many different countries; decoders, AT&T, epsilon and all the rest.
They collect terabytes of information and have AI software run thru the data. I am intrigued by this system, but also worry it unnecessarily causes costs in dead and BS leads, which costs human man-hours to follow up on at the NSA. Additionally different dialects and in the instance of emails, different variations of spelling and sentence structure changes how it is classified and viewed you see? I have had my cell phone do this a number of times and get bogus emails too. Usually I can tell and sometimes I screw with them, because, well it is fun and I guess it provides a job for some American somewhere, I doubt if they outsource these things.
Cell Phone Voice Collection Data and the Protection of the American People and our hard fought civilization will need a National Discussion and of course some re-assurances that the system will continue to remain honest and will not be used to spy on political opponents, corporate business competitors or ex-wives. I believe currently every thing is fine and our Nation is protected and the NSA is doing their job in the best way possible and it is a damn good thing they are. You and your family are safe and that is a good thing. Think on this in 2006.

There are many great features on cell phones and as technology increases or seems to be more and more features while telephones become cheaper and cheaper! The end result is that you, the consumer, get more for less. A rare feat in this world.
One great feature of the cell phone is the organizer that can come with it which will help organize your life and eliminate the need for an additional PDA. The organizer can store your schedule, synchronize with your computer, and keep you up-to-date and on time with alarm settings, a calendar function, and reminders.
Games are a great way to pass the time and keep you busy while you sit in the back of a taxi cab during rush hour. The earliest renditions of Tetris and Snake are now like the video game Pong your parents may have played on the earliest television video game systems. Highly advanced games with detailed graphics and entertaining scenarios are available for download.
Cell phones coming with a GPS system built-in which allows you to find where you are, but is also being marketed to parents of teenagers to keep tabs on their children while they are over their friends.
Cell phones that have RSS feed capabilities can be used for “Punchcasting” which allows you to use your phone like an MP3 player or an iPod, automatically retrieving freshly updated podcasts to your phone that you have subscribed to.
Being able to text message your friends is a great way to amuse yourself in a non-disruptive way without diminishing your ability to communicate with your friends.
Digital pictures and video are increasing in popularity on your cell phone as a great way of immortalizing the moment.
One of the best features available on the cell phone has little to do with the electronic functionality. Instead, cell phones, which have become such an intricate part of our lives, are customizable to become expressions of who we are. You can get faceplates, antennas, and ring tones that turn your phone from just another one off the assembly line into your own unique communication device.
What’s next? With all these great features now, can there be anything more added to the cell phone? Cell phones are quickly becoming the central tool that we make sure we take with us when we go, eliminating our need for an extra PDA, an extra MP3 player, an extra text messaging system, an extra digital camera. In the future we may see cell phones also replacing our wallets, our keys, and our remote garage door opener.
